Apex Airspace Development is a London based property development company specialising in urban development projects (https://www.apexairspace.co.uk/developments). Apex is an Investment Partner to the Greater London Authority (GLA), delivering affordable homes across the capital to mitigate the acute shortage of housing. The company recently launched a division dedicated to providing guaranteed rent to landlords across the UK – supplying additional housing for short term renters or those in need of temporary accommodation.

The Opportunity:

This is a high-impact leadership role for an ambitious professional ready to shape the future of Apex Airspace. You’ll spearhead business growth by securing new properties, forging relationships with landlords, agents and local authorities across the UK, and leveraging digital marketing to elevate our brand. Based in London but working nationally, this role involves travel to key cities and offers the chance to make a mark in a fast-evolving sector.

Key Responsibilities:
Drive Business Growth & Property Acquisition:
  • Target and engage property owners and estate agents to expand our rental portfolio across UK cities.
    • Build lasting partnerships with landlords and industry players to secure high-value properties.
    • Lead proactive outreach to bring fresh opportunities into the fold, traveling as needed.
Digital Marketing for Lead Generation:
  • Liaison with Digital Marketing team to design and launch high-impact campaigns across Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and emerging platforms.
    • Collaborate with our marketing team to boost brand visibility and attract quality leads nationwide.
    • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and maximise ROI.
Strengthen Local Authority Relationships:
  • Tap into existing networks with local authorities to unlock collaboration opportunities across multiple regions.
    • Onboard councils, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
    • Position Apex as a trusted partner in the public sector through hands-on engagement.
Lead with Market Insight:
  • Keep a pulse on UK property trends, competitor moves and regulatory shifts across regions.
    • Deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership based on sharp market analysis.
    • Develop feasibility studies and risk assessments to guide informed decisions.
Build Relationships & Track Progress:
  • Cultivate trust and satisfaction among stakeholders—landlords, agents, and councils alike—across the UK.
    • Maintain CRM records to streamline follow-ups and reporting.
    • Provide clear, actionable updates to senior management on wins, challenges, and next steps.
Consultant Supervision:
  • Liaise with self-employed consultants, ensuring their work aligns with company goals and enhances business development efforts.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of the UK property market, with a focus on guaranteed rent or rental sectors.
  • Local Authority Experience: Proven experience working with local authorities, navigating their processes and building partnerships—essential for this role.
  • Sales & Negotiation Prowess: A proven closer with a history of winning property deals and exceeding targets.
  • Strategic Vision: Analytical thinker with a knack for spotting opportunities and solving complex challenges.
  • People Skills: Charismatic communicator who builds rapport effortlessly with diverse audiences.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel across UK cities to drive growth and meet stakeholders.
Preferred Background:
  • Experience: 5-10 years in business development, property acquisition, or real estate growth roles, with demonstrable experience working with local authorities. Bonus points for digital marketing leadership.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field. Certifications in digital marketing or property management are a plus.
